Sensitivity Training: Being a Strong Ally

May 20, 2016 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Diversity‘Culture’ is a shared set of knowledge, beliefs, customs, morals and habits. Many of us are unaware of our culture, because we grow up in it and consider it normal. It’s important as volunteer managers to look at the best ways to work with a rich and diverse volunteers base. Please join us for an exciting discussion about the evolutions of gender. During this discussion, we will talk about how assigned identities at birth are becoming a thing of the past and learn about expanding gender identities!
