“Going through the CVA certification process is something I would encourage every volunteer management professional to do. It gave me an incredible sense of validation for the work that I have done, along with a deeper understanding of a worldwide body of professionals who believe and promote the same core values of volunteerism that I do. I’m so glad I did it!”
Becci J. Terrill, CVA, Shepherds Ministries, Inc., Union Grove, WI
“I am very glad I completed the certification process. While I was studying for the written exam, I kept getting ideas on things I wanted or needed to implement in my workplace. The portfolio process gave me a chance to reflect on my work in an in-depth way that I rarely take the time to do. I encourage all volunteer managers to challenge themselves to earn their CVA—you will be better for the effort!”
Mary Earheart-Brown, CVA, Memphis City Schools, Memphis, TN
