Weingart Foundation to Hold Small Grant Program Webinar
Thursday May 15, 2014 — 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Weingart Foundation’s Small Grant Program (SGP) (grants $25,000 and under) is a longstanding and important part of our grantmaking. The goal of the SGP is to support the capacity of smaller, developing, and community-based organizations and provide them with access to Foundation support through a streamlined process.
In order to share up-to-date information about how to apply to the SGP and what makes a strong applicant, we will hold a webinar on May 15, 11:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. The webinar is intended for Southern California nonprofit organizations with annual budgets under $1 million that are interested in learning about how to apply for a grant through the SGP. Participants will hear from SGP staff about our guidelines and grantmaking process and have an opportunity to ask questions. Space is limited; early registration is recommended.
Please note: To be eligible for the Small Grant Program, a nonprofit organization must be focused on serving low income individuals in the areas of health, human services, or education; have an annual operating budget of $1 million or under (except for those seeking capital funding); and have at least three years of operating history in Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, and/or Ventura counties). For agencies larger than $1 million, click here to learn more about our Regular Grant Program.
