Great Presentation at DOVIA-LA Meeting

Many thanks to presenter Judy Plunkett of The Huntington, for her presentation at DOVIA-LA last Friday! Judy shared some best practices in fundraising and how they can be applied to volunteer engagement. Following the popular “3 R’s” presentation in May, she talked about the basics of relationship building in fundraising. One key point: We always balance relationships with individual volunteers / donors with mission and constituents. She shared ideas to develop substantive relationships with volunteers and how to balance those 3 important areas. DOVIA-LA members will see more notes in the next DOVIA newsletter.

Special thanks to photographer Ned Racine for attending the meeting and taking lovely pics!
